Grant of $750 to Big Brothers Big Sisters::
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda (BBBS) has again been given a grant from the Caribbean Cable and Telecommunications Association (CCTA) after being nominated by Bermuda CableVision. The $750 grant is the fifth consecutive grant the organisation has received from the CCTA. The CCTA's Community Charities Programme has given more than $238,000 since it was set up in 1993.

Cash boost for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Bermuda
The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Bermuda (BBBS) received a cash boost from the Caribbean Cable and Telecommunications Association (CCTA). CCTA gave the BBBS a $1,000 grant from its 2007 Community Charities Programme. The charity was nominated by CableVision, a member of CCTA. The cheque was presented to board member Martin Humphrey by Edward Cherwinski, Chief Financial Officer of Bermuda CableVision. Big Brothers Big Sisters granted $1,000
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda were given a $1000 grant from the Caribbean Cable and Telecommunications Association (CCTA) for their ongoing commitment to youths in the community. The cheque was presented November 20 by Bermuda CableVision general manager Terry Roberson, to Dina-Mae Richardson, office coordinator of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Ms Richardson said: "Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda is very grateful for again being nominated by Bermuda CableVision for the CCTA's donation.

Cable association gives to Women�s Resource Centre
The Caribbean Cable and Telecommunications Association donated $750 to Bermuda's Women's Resource Centre. The charity was nominated for the grant by Bermuda CableVision, the company is a member of CCTA. Shari Woods, CableVision's Human Resources Manager, said: "This group is playing a vital role in the community in terms of education, counselling and advocacy. It is an organisation that is both caring and extremely effective. We hope this small gift will help them."

Tag day for Big Brothers and Big Sisters
Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Bermuda (BBBS) is holding their annual Tag Day today and tomorrow. Representatives from the organisation will be standing outside of various businesses around the city and around the Island, accepting donations to help fund the non-profit organisation.
