Quanta files for resale of common shares

Bermuda�s newest insurer Quanta Capital Holdings Ltd., a specialty insurance and reinsurance company, on Christmas Eve announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for the resale of up to 59,049,769 of its common shares.


A registration statement related to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.

This news release shall not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy nor shall there be any sale of these securities in any state in which such an offer, solicitation or sale would be unlawful prior to registration or qualification under the securities laws of any such state.

Quanta Capital Holdings Ltd., which has offices on Victoria Street, provides specialty insurance, reinsurance, risk assessment and risk consulting products and services on a global basis.

Through operations in Bermuda, the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States, the company focuses on writing coverage for specialised classes of risk through a team of experienced, technically qualified underwriters.
